Stagger Guide for TQ2

How Stagger Works

Stagger is one of the few Ailments that affects both offense and defense by lowering a target’s attack speed and movement speed. It is especially dangerous when stacked in melee-heavy encounters, as it slows enemy retaliation and escape.

Example Attacks That Apply Stagger

  • Roiling Magma Roiling Magma if it deals Strike Damage (confirmation needed).
  • Heavy Attack Heavy Attack is a basic Warfare skill likely to cause Stagger due to Strike-based scaling. (Likely)

Tips and Synergies

  • Pair with Burning or Bleeding Ailments to apply both DoT and control effects.
  • Builds that focus on Crit and high Strike Damage benefit most from Stagger-heavy gameplay.
  • Using multiple sources of Strike attacks increases stacking speed.

Notes

  • Each stack expires after a fixed duration.
  • Ailment effects are not reduced by enemy resistances.
  • Ailments apply based on your attack’s Ailment Chance and dominant damage type.
