The fissure stays for 2s and slows enemies by 20%.

Fissure is an Active Earth Mastery Skill in Titan Quest 2 (TQ2) that deals Strike Damage in line in front of you. It also slows enemies 20% and can consume Overwhelm to deal 50% more damage. This is a useful skill for hitting multiple enemies at a time, especially when upgraded with Additional Fissures.

This skill is available by default when taking Earth Mastery, but you will need to spend 1 Skill Point in it to use it.

Titan Quest 2 Fissure Modifiers

Modifiers in Titan Quest 2 can change the way that certain skills work, and each one requires a certain amount of Capacity in order to slot it. Max Capacity increases as you place more and more Skill Points into any give skill, allowing you to slot more Modifiers further improving the chosen skill.

Fissure has a maximum Capacity of 10. Each rank of a Modifier costs a certain amount of Capacity, so if you want more ranks of it, you will need more Capacity in order to improve it. It would take 3 Capacity to slot all 3 ranks of Lava Fissure for example.

Modifier Capacity Ranks Effect

Lava Fissure

1 3 +1s Fissure duration.

The fissure is filled with lava and deals Fire Damage every 0.5s with 20% Ailment Chance. 20% less Hit Damage. +30 Energy Cost.

Shockwave

1 3 Stunned enemies triggers shockwave dealing Strike Damage in a 1.2m radius.

+10 Energy Cost.

Slam Attack

1 1 Turns the skill into a melee slam attack dealing 130% Weapon Damage with 100% Weapon Speed and 6m Range instead.

Requires Axe, Sword, Spear or Blunt Melee Weapon.

Spikes

1 3 100% Hit Damage converted to Pierce Damage.

+40% added Base Ailment Chance. 10% less Damage. +10 Energy Cost.

Staggering Force

1 3 5% more Damage.

10% chance to Stun for 0.6s.

Interrupt

1 3 Deals 50% more Damage against Channeling enemies, Stuns them for 1s and refunds 20% Energy spent.

Additional Fissures

2 2 Creates +1 fissure in a cone.

10% less Damage.

Overwhelm

2 1 Consumes full Overwhelm for +2 fissures in a cone.

Requires Additional Fissures.
