Barrier Decay Rate

Barrier Decay Rate in Titan Quest 2 (TQ2) refers to the rate at which your Barrier decays after using the Barrier Skill. 3 second after casting Barrier, it will begin to drain at a rate equal to 25% of your Total Barrier per second (this includes both Energy Barrier and Free Barrier). This means, 7 seconds after casting Barrier you will have zero Barrier remaining (unless you have a Barrier Decay Threshold greater than 0).

Lowering your Barrier Decay Rate will make your Barrier last longer, often allowing you to maintain 100% uptime on at least some Barrier, if you have any increased Cooldown Rate. The primary means of doing this is through Barrier Modifiers, but there are other ways as well. Below you can find a list of things that impact Barrier Decay Rate:
